Life Cycle Assessment
To better understand the environmental impact of different water packaging options, we commissioned an independent Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) comparing bottle up with some of the most commonly used alternatives, including PET bottles, aluminium cans, cartons and reusable aluminium bottles.
The study looks beyond the material alone, taking into account the full life cycle of each packaging format. The results highlight the significant environmental benefits that can be achieved through reuse, even after a relatively limited number of uses.
To ensure the methodology and conclusions are robust, the LCA was also independently reviewed by a third party.
